Personal Training with Melanie
Train with Melanie in her private Haverhill studio or from the comfort of your own home. She specializes in helping women from midlife through their golden years feel strong, confident, and capable.
Melanie works with beginners to intermediate fitness levels, focusing on functional movement to improve mobility, balance, and daily quality of life. She also supports clients with chronic pain, orthopedic concerns, or post-physical therapy maintenance, creating safe, individualized programs.
Her services include compassionate weight loss support, including plans for pre-diabetic and diabetic clients, and as a Certified Water Fitness & Aqua Aerobics Instructor, Melanie also offers low-impact, energizing classes that build strength, flexibility, and endurance in a fun, supportive environment.

I just have a total aversion to "workouts" and I think I'm allergic to gyms and health clubs! But, Melanie is so easy to work with. It's like having a friend come over and chit chat for an hour. But, you really are getting that dreaded workout done. Then I can go walk which is what I love to do. Mel showed me how to make it part of my fitness plan. I have been training with Melanie since June, 2014, and it has been an amazing experience!
I am a former collegiate athlete who wanted to learn how to stay fit and more toned for my brother's wedding back in September. I have never gone to a personal trainer, so I wasn't sure what to expect in the beginning. I am truly very lucky to have met Melanie. She took the time to listen to my story and understand what my goals are. She caters every workout to your needs and level, which makes it very personal. She definitely gives me kick butt workouts and they are never the same. This makes it fun to workout because it is not your boring workout routine that you have to motivate yourself to do everyday. She keeps you motivated, and I have always gotten a great workout! If you are looking for a trainer who takes the time to get to know you and caters every workout just to you, then Melanie is your girl! She is awesome, and I would recommend her to anyone!!! 5 Stars!

I knew immediately that Melanie was the trainer for me!
I had been going to a gym which can be impersonal & intimidating. She welcomed me into her home, and the equipment she has there is impressive! Her true understanding of the body and how it works is apparent in the thoughtfulness of her training. She is endlessly encouraging & seems to find a way to motivate you - even on your WORST day when you do NOT feel like doing it! (anyone been there?!) Melanie genuinely cares about you as a client and as a person and goes above and beyond to be sure you are reaching your fitness goals - safely and effectively.
Melanie's personality is kind-hearted and easy going, but tough when you need it, positive yet realistic, and ALWAYS motivating and energizing! She acts as an excellent role model with her own health and fitness level. Training with Melanie has been the best thing I do for myself!

Making training personal, challenging and fun!
Meeting Melanie is one of the best things that has ever happened to me! I initially had some reservations about personal training in someone’s home because I thought I would also need a gym membership for the days in between. I was completely wrong. Melanie teaches you so many exercises that you can do in your own home without a gym membership. I love not having to go to a crowded gym and Melanie’s time is completely focused on me and my individual needs. She is very creative with the workouts and each training session is different due to the wide variety of equipment she has available. The hour flies by. I used to dread going to the gym, but now I honestly look forward to each training session. She’s the best!
